Nice place, near to the main tourist actractions in downtown, very clean acomodations and people very kind with the pass

Location is very helpful!!

They don’t have a good marks in their building, so in the first time is not easy to see the hotel location.

Room was nicely decorated and clean. Best part was the room was so quiet and we had a very good rest.

Breakfast selection was rather limited.

Great location, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I didn't like the toilet being separate to the bathroom. There was a step up into the toilet and a step up into the bathroom probably to accommodate the plumbing which gave it a makeshift feel. There was a huge bath in the bathroom but a cramped shower. The shower had mould in there. The flooring was bare wood which I didn't like. The "headboard" was two large cushions which were frayed and shabby and they couldn't possibly be washed each time a change of guests occurred.They also took up quite a bit of space on the bed. A tall person would have had to remove them. It's quite a trendy hotel so I think young people would like it.

Great location for a short-term stay in Brussels

The location was excellent; smack in the middle of the city and close to amenities including restaurants, cafes, night life, and shopping. Loric and the rest of the staff were exceedingly helpful in providing information on food and local attractions.

The room was really nice, the hotel had nice communal areas too and exceeded expectations massively for a city centre hotel I it's price range. location is ideal for people wanting to be in the centre of old town Brussels. Nice products int he bathroom. Nicebig windows with proper shutters to keep out sunlight in the morning.

What was the highlight of Hotel des Galeries

Good hotel in a great location.

First, the location of this hotel is excellent. Minutes walk from the central train station, on the edge of the St. Hubert royal galleries, and a quick walk to the grand place - you’re in the middle of everything. (I note that as with any place with such a central location, it is a bit noisy, but nothing that kept us up at night.) Second, the rooms are very large. Our room was the king room, which had a bedroom with a chair, desk, and door, an entry area with luggage storage and shelving, tea/coffee station, and a massive bathroom with stand alone both and walk in shower. Third, the water pressure was excellent. Fourth, the staff were great. The main lobby in the building is tiny and for guests only, and the staff there was so pleasant. Fifth, the internet was good.

While the hotel itself has great potential, it is let down by lack of care. For example, in the shower there was rust, a hint of mildew and a lot of missing grout; there is a gap between baseboards and the floor; the bedroom carpet has seen better days; the chair in the bedroom had a broken seat; some of the towels were discoloured. So while our stay was fine, these things made the stay left comfortable. In addition, the rooms were lacking a deep clean (clearly the bedsheets and towels were clean and common surfaces were cleaned, but the window ledges a couple of the bathroom walls and a few other spots needed cleaning. Finally, we ran out of hot water every day.

Boutique hotel in an old city building with unique design in the heart of Brussels.

Lovely rooms of generous size with nice design for a unique experience. Friendly staff. Great location direct in the Brussel city center.

Room went towards the street. Due to the building being old and windows not having soundproofing, it was very loud during the nights over the weekend. The rooms towards the back are probably much more quiet. The bed was big and comfy, but a little hard for me personal taste.
